A Recommendation
You may have spotted on Instagram that I'm going to be on the new Channel 4 show Secret Genius this Sunday. It still feels bizarre to me that I was part of it but it was a lot of fun and I met some great people.
We have a genius whatsapp group now (lol) and so in honour of the SG launch I'm recommending Clues by Sam. A great daily logic game that I tend to do with a coffee!
Simple Discipleship - Permission to Mourn
Have you ever felt like you shouldn't be grieving? Like it's a sign of a lack of faith. Here's why that isn't the case.
#ReadFor30Together
This week we're starting How to Know a Person by David Brooks.
The full title of this book, How to Know a Person: The art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen, says it all.
As usual, all the details and the reading plan for the month can be found here. (Plus a heads up for March and April books)
Here’s the reading for this week:
2nd 3-17 | 3rd 18-27 | 4th 28-42 | 5th 43-54 | 6th 55-70
Questions for the week ahead
Towards the end of The Best You Yet, I lead you through a weekly and monthly review.
It’s everything you need to review your habits and rhythms from the previous week, and make sure you’re set up to win for the next one.
Here’s the video. If you don’t already do it, starting a weekly review will be a game-changer for you.
How did your habits and rhythms go last week? Is there anything you need to change or make more obvious?
How’s the calendar looking this week? Do you need to schedule in any prep space or protected space?
This week’s journal prompt: Are you in a season of quietening the chaos (decluttering your life) or changing your relationship with the chaos (learning to live with the fullness of life)?
