Design Your Week #81

A recommendation, reading plan and question as we look ahead to next week

A Recommendation

BibleProject Classroom

The BibleProject is a fantastic organisation that helps people to understand the Bible. Dr Tim Mackie is a legend.

Anyway, the Classroom is home to free, self-paced classes across a whole number of themes. It's genuinely incredible Bible teaching. All for free!

Simple Discipleship - The Endurance Plan

We've reached the sixth and final episode of the finishing well series.

We're getting really practical - looking at how to care for our body, soul and mind so we can finish our race with integrity.

Listen here or read it here.

#ReadFor30Together

It's our final week in Surrender to Love by David G. Benner. Our next book is Moving Mountains by John Eldredge.

As usual, all the details and the reading plan for the month can be found here. (Plus a heads up for future books)

Here’s the reading for this week:

30th 92-98 | 31st The Epilogue | 1st Catch-up day | 2nd Catch-up day | 3rd Catch-up day

Questions for the week ahead

Towards the end of The Best You Yet, I lead you through a weekly and monthly review.

It’s everything you need to review your habits and rhythms from the previous week, and make sure you’re set up to win for the next one.

Here’s the video. If you don’t already do it, starting a weekly review will be a game-changer for you.

  1. How did your habits and rhythms go last week? Is there anything you need to change or make more obvious?

  2. How’s the calendar looking this week? Do you need to schedule in any prep space or protected space?

  3. This week’s journal prompt: what's a good think to dedicate this season of your life to? What could that look like?

P.S. I've received a lot of positive feedback on the finishing well podcast series. I'm very grateful for it!Now feels like a good time to mention that I offer 1-1 coaching for people who want to get intentional about a specific area of their life. Listeners of the pod get 50% off.
